Entry for our outdoor shows is a little different in 2024.
Arriving By Train:
Dreamland is just a short walk from Margate train station.
Entrance to this event will be along Hall By The Sea Road.  Walk along, following the signs to the outdoor event entrance, where you will join the ingress queue lanes.

Arriving By Car:
There are two car parks close to Dreamland.  If you park in the multi storey car park, please walk towards Dreamland, then down Hall By The Sea Road and follow the signs to the Outdoor event entrance.  If you park in the Belgrave Road Car Park, you will see a large wooden style fence at the bottom of the car park.  Walk in the direction of the large entrance marquee, following the directional signage and join the queue lanes.
Both car parks close to Dreamland are operated and managed by Smart Parking.  You can pay for a ticket using the Ringo app, or at the machines in the car park.
Remember, if you are parking nearby, please make sure you allow ample time on your ticket as there will be fines for late returns.

Arriving By Coach:
The coaches will stop at Belgrave Road Car Park.  Please follow the directional signage on the large wooden style fence to reach the entrance gates and join the ingress queues.

VIP / Accessible Entrance:
The VIP and Accessible Queue Lane can be accessed from both Hall By The Sea Road and the Belgrave Road Car Park.  Please follow the directional signage and please speak to a member of the Dreamland team, or our security providers if you have any questions at all.

At the end of our outdoor events, there will be two exit points.  Both will lead you out to the Belgrave Road Car Park.  One exit will be via large gates, just past the Rock N Roller ride and the other will be via the original entrance gates. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any questions.

Timings will vary so please make sure you read the individual event FAQ’s that can be found on the relevant event listings in our What’s On Page.  Click here to discover What’s On at Dreamland

Dreamland is a responsible licenced event venue where the safety and security of our guests is a top priority.

The event management team, together with our security and medical providers, work closely with the emergency services to provide a safe place from which to enjoy live entertainment.

Each event is risk assessed and audience profiled to ensure we have relevant security measures in place. These details are communicated to Kent Police in advance of the event and can include covert officers, drug detection dogs, general purpose patrol dogs, various levels of personal and bag searches, age identification and Security Industry Authority (SIA) officers.

Our entire site is covered by CCTV which is viewed and recorded from a dedicated Operations Control. Additionally, all our security officers wear Body Worn Video devices.

We urge our guests to help us ensure that Dreamland maintains its high standards of safety by alerting a member of staff or security should you see something that doesn’t look right or an incident that should be brought to our attention.

For our outdoor events there is no cloakroom and there are no storage facilities available on site at Dreamland.

If you have proof of medical exemption and need to bring snacks with you, please inform the team at the doors on arrival.  Please bring proof of medical exemption with you if possible.

We do not recommend subjecting children to loud music over a sustained period of time. Hearing protection is advised for all live music events taking place at Dreamland and is advisable for any other events where loud music is or may be involved. A concert environment is not suitable for very young children.  Prams, pushchairs and buggies are not permitted inside the Scenic Stage arena for live music events, so all babies must be carried.
Babes in arms do not need a ticket for events, however children aged 2 years old and over will need a ticket for appropriate events.  Please note that age restrictions are in place for all events at Dreamland.

Pets of any kind are not permitted at Dreamland for indoor or outdoor live music events.
Assistance dogs are welcomed with their humans and the relevant appropriate licences  / paperwork.

If you have any questions regarding animals at Dreamland please email who can assist you further.

We have a selection of street food traders in our main arena including Rad Burger, Sea Shanty Fish & Chips and Birdy Mac’s.  In the VIP area, VIP ticket holders will also find T’s Taco’s.  At some of our music events there may also be guest vendors popping up too.  To find out more about Food & Drink at Dreamland click here.

Re entry at the majority of our outdoor and indoor events is not possible.  If there is a change to this policy, it will be advertised in advance on the specific event listing on our What’s On page.

Dreamland is a cashless park, so we encourage all guests to pay using card or contactless methods.

Our outdoor venue is accessible and is mainly level.  The paths are either block paved or gravel paths.  For Accessible Platform ticket holders, please head to the VIP / Accessible area, which can be reached via the slight slope by Rosco’s Ice Cream van.  Please ask a member of the Dreamland team if you need any assistance.

Dreamland is a standing only venue both inside and outdoors. There are no seats available for reservation or pre booking.  If you have purchased an accessible platform ticket, there will be seating available on the accessible viewing platform for ticket holders and their companions only.
If you need to sit down during an event, please speak to a member of the Dreamland Event Management Team on site, who will endeavour to assist you.

Many of our events are managed by external promoters and so we often do not have full details of exactly what the production will involve until very close to the day of the show. Most of our events will contain flashing lights and use of haze as standard. We make every effort to advertise on doors of the event if this is the case.
