The Screamland scare attractions are very intricate, as well as scary, with special effects, obstacles, darkness, smoke, strobe lighting, live actors and more, so please take this into account when visiting us.

Is There Wheelchair Access to the Scare Mazes?

Three of our scare mazes are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific access needs, please make our Guest Experience team aware at the time of your visit, and they will be able to advise you on

maze and ride accessibility. Or please contact the Customer Service team on office@dreamland.co.uk should you require any further information.

The majority of the mazes consist of tight and confined spaces which may require crawling, and therefore guests need to be able to undertake this physical activity to enter these mazes, and wear suitable clothing e.g. flat shoes.

Are There Flashing Lights, Strobe Lights, Smoke or Loud Noises in the Mazes?

Yes. There will be a mixture of flashing lights, strobe, smoke, smells and/or loud noises throughout each of the scare mazes. These mazes are designed to disorientate you. If you have any health conditions that may be affected by any of these effects then we would strongly advise that you purchase a Rides Only ticket, which doesn’t include access to the mazes but does give you access to unlimited rides and street entertainment.

Is the Event Inside or Outside?

This event is both indoors and outdoors, with queuing and exposure to the elements. Please only attend if you think you are physically fit enough for these conditions. Please wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor event. The scare mazes are covered, but some of the queue lanes may be outside. For 2019, the mazes will be in the Ballroom, Roller Room and in the adjacent Arlington Car Park, alongside entertainment and rides on park.

Does Screamland Still Happen if It Rains?

Yes. The main scare mazes are all undercover, although some of the queue lanes may be exposed to the elements. Make sure you dress accordingly. Rain only affects a small number of rides in the park.

Will We Get Wet Queuing if It is Raining?

Due to the location of the scare mazes, some of the queue lines may be exposed to the elements. We recommend you come prepared to keep warm and dry!

We do not allow any form of alcohol to be brought onto the site. However, alcohol is available to purchase from the licensed bars within Dreamland. We operate a challenge 25 policy. These mazes will also make you laugh! You may be touched in some of the attractions and potentially when navigating your way through the maze calls for the actors to guide you through certain parts of the story.
