Our graceful, swishy tailed stable mates are the original hand carved figurines that were ridden at Dreamland after WWII. But this style of attraction had been around since the mid 1800s, before the introduction of steam power. Back then the operators used real ponies to propel the mechanism and the riders sat on a hanging “dobby” horse. Billy Butlin sourced our stud of beauties from France, so they say “non” not “neigh”. Oui?
