Please note:
· Unfortunately, the building is not wheelchair accessible and has uneven flooring.
· Toilets are located in another building approximately a 3-minute outdoor walk away.
· This is an 18+ event

For two weekends only, the Sunshine Cafe opens its doors to host a dinner party to remember.

This is not a restaurant opening.
This is not a polished venue.
It’s a temporary moment created simply to bring people together.

Over two weekends, with two guest chefs & restaurateurs.
You’ll receive a welcome glass of fizz, and a seasonal three-course set menu.

Friday 15th May & Saturday 16th May with Pomus & Ryan Jacovides
Bio:

Ryan Jacovides is a hospitality veteran with over 25 years in the industry. He used to run multiple restaurant groups & was a founding partner of Pasture restaurant group. He now has his own independent group, Pomus. A  wine bar & restaurant focused on hyper seasonal cooking & warm hospitality. Based across the Kent coastline in all the locations he used to holiday as a kid.

TICKETS

Tickets are available in two ways, options one is on the AXS platform via a link, tickets will be £100pp (+ booking fee).

Alternatively, you can head to one of these Margate venues to purchase your tickets in person for £100pp. Tickets will be available in person at: Cinque Ports, Pomus & The Food Court Bar at Dreamland during amusement park open days.
Please check the websites for each establishment for their opening times.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE SIGNING-UP

  • Please note the main toilets are a 3 minute walk away from the main cinema building
  • Photography and filming will be taking place
  • Guests will be asked to depart shortly after sunset
  • We offer a standard menu plus a vegetarian/vegan/gluten free offering. We unfortunately can’t accommodate most other dietary requirements due to the scale and temporary nature of the kitchen
  • A maximum of 6 tickets per booking will be sat together. We will do our best to accommodate separate bookings that wish to be seated together – please email Hannah (see below)
  • We can’t guarantee a sunset
  • If you or any guests within your party have any dietary requirements other than the standard menu, please email Hannah on the below at least five working days before the event
  • Unfortunately the building is not wheelchair accessible and has uneven flooring
  • There’s no heating or air conditioning within the space, please dress appropriately
  • No under 18’s
  • Tickets are NON-Refundable

No, this is an adult-only event.

We offer:

No, there will be no cloakroom. You will be seated, so any outerwear can be placed on backs of chairs.

We will serve dessert at sunset time — but the actual sunset is in the hands of forces much bigger than us.
