EASTER AT DREAMLAND WITH CAMP BESTIVAL

Get ready to bounce – the UK’s coolest amusement park is joining forces with the UK’s favourite family festival this Easter. Our park reopens in full on Saturday 6th April and we’re starting the season with a full park takeover by the one and only Camp Bestival for the school holidays!
From 6th to 22nd April, Camp Bestival will bring a taste of its much-loved family festival down to the seaside, with some amazing features planned plus a mammoth family party on Easter Sunday 21st April. Oh, and we mentioned that the park is free to enter, right? Woop woop! Here’s what’s in store at Dreamland this Easter…
So the most important thing to remember – Dreamland is free to enter this Easter. We’ve waived the £5 entry fee so you can come and explore the park, and see the Camp Bestival sights. You can pay per ride, but the best way of enjoying a full day in the park with family and friends is to buy unlimited ride wristbands in advance online (for 25% off), so you can try as many of our rides as you like. You can also become a Dreamland member for unlimited rides all season and lots of extra discounts – a good choice for families if you’re planning to visit and ride regularly this spring and summer. And if you’re more of a coat-holder than a thrill-seeker, don’t worry – you’re free to come in and watch the little (or big) ones running wild.
Standing at 8m tall and with a heart as big as Thanet, the Love-Bot is coming to the park to spread love and joy to all. A magnet for Instagrammers, the gentle giant is an amazing interactive art installation that needs your hugs and positivity for energy, and uses its love dectors to convert your good vibes into affectionate displays. Everyone loves a bouncy castle. That’s a fact. And we’ve got one that’s taller than the Great Wall of China and roughly three times the size of the Berlin Wall! Filled with 1143 cubic metres of air, The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle can comfortably accommodate 100 pleasure-seeking festivalgoers at one time. Taking bobbing up and down to new heights, it’s an inflatable legend! There is a small fee for the bouncy castle, but you can book your slot in advance. When the excitement of Easter and the fun of the festival starts to zap your energy, revellers can head to the Bollywood Tent for some chill-axtion. A stunning mini temple serves as the entrace to this chill out zone, where families can mellow out and recharge their batteries during their busy day out at Dreamland. Parents – you’re welcome.
Competitive kids (big and small) can test their balance and poise at our special Wobbly Olympics, with jelly spoon races, pop the bubbles in our bubble bash, or throw your wobbliest shapes in our musical statue games. Or dare to test your nerves in the giant Jenga roulette! Try your hand at festival and robot mask making in our arts and crafts workshops, with feathers, glitter and flowers, or take time out to decorate your own robot stone to hide around the park or your home town. The Dreamland Ark will also be open for people to visit Creepy Claws’ collection of weird and wonderful animals – from the cute to the creepy! (Dreamland Ark is £2 entry).
Our Easter festivities will culminate in a huge one day Camp Bestival Party on Sunday 21st April, curated by ‘Family da Bank’ (founder and DJ Rob da Bank and his family team), with a day of family friendly DJs, live music and workshops for big and little kids. Those in need of relaxation can dive into the pop-up Sleep Retreat with yoga, gong baths and meditation from local relaxation experts, while other ravers can enjoy a DJ BBQ and tunes from The Cuban Brothers, Junior Jungle and Rob da Bank himself with more acts to be announced.
