How To Find Us

Dreamland’s entrance is on Marine Terrace, Margate, CT9 1XJ; the entrance to the Amusement Park is just to the side of the cinema on Hall By The Sea Road.

We are on a prominent location on the Margate seafront which is situated on the south eastern tip of Kent with excellent transport links from London and just a hop across the Channel from France.

Travelling to Dreamland

By Bus

Frequent bus links mean that travelling around Thanet and to Dreamland Margate is quick and easy. The 8, 32, 33, 34, 36, 56 and Loop are the main bus routes that Stagecoach run through the towns, stopping in various places near the park.

By Car

Excellent road links with the M20 and M2 motorways close-by providing easy links from London.

The Eurotunnel train at Calais will transport you to Folkestone in just 35 minutes. From there it is approximately a 1 hour drive to Thanet on the A20 and A256, follow the signs to Margate.

Car and Coach Parking

Beside Dreamland is a public car and coach park but parking is limited; the entrance is on Belgrave Road, CT9 1XG.

By Rail

High Speed Trains

The high-speed train service between St Pancras International Station, London and Margate means travelling from the capital is quick and easy with a journey time of around just 80 minutes.

There are also frequent trains between London Victoria and Margate. Journey times are approximately 1 hour 50 minutes from Victoria. Margate train station is approximately a 7-minute walk to Dreamland’s main entrance.

The Eurostar

The passenger terminal in Ashford can connect with trains to Margate. Eurostar International service runs to Ashford and London from Brussels, Lille and Paris.

Margate railway station is a stones throw from the Margate Main Sands and a very short walk (about 7 minutes) from Dreamland. This makes travelling by rail a perfect stress free option for a great day out!
