Calling all actors: Screamland is back and casting is starting!
- Do you have the scare factor?
- Don’t miss out on the chance to thrill and chill this Halloween
- Get spooking at Screamland this October
28 August – It’s back and scarier than ever! Dreamland Margate will mutate into Screamland once again in October, when Kent’s ultimate Halloween fear-fest takes place at the new-look entertainment park.
As the award-winning event enters its fourth year, Dreamland is seeking animated actors for 2018 to give visitors the scare of their lives in a frightening world of immersive scare mazes and sideshows set to thrill and terrify.
After dark, the fairground becomes a ‘scareground’ and those wishing to scare people silly (while being paid to do so) have the chance to be part of this award-winning attraction by attending castings. These will take place on:
- Audition days will be held on 19, 20, and 21 September in Hall By The Sea between 6pm-9pm
- Rehearsals: 8-12 October – Drop in sessions each evening between 6pm-9pm with each actor having to attend at least one session
- Screamland dates: 13, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 and 31 October.
A range of terrifying roles will be up for grabs and actors will receive full training, so no experience is necessary! Candidates must be available throughout the duration of October and are expected to scare until late into the witching-hour.
Early bird tickets for Screamland are on sale for a short time only. For more info about Screamland, visit dreamland.co.uk/screamland
