Doggy Day Out
Saturday 21 September 2019 11:00 - 17:00 to 11:00 - 17:00
21st September 2019 11:00 - 17:00
We’ve gone dog crazy here at Dreamland!
For one day only, Dreamland is opening its doors to pooches and their proud owners for a special day dog-themed fun.
On 21st September, folks with four-legged friends can bring their pups on park and take part in silly contests for spot prizes, enjoy some tasty treats or just show their best friends the delights of Dreamland.
Dreamland does not normally permit dogs on site, but has made special arrangements for this free event. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, and owners are expected to be responsible for their pets. This is a family friendly event and free to enter.
For the more competitive doggy, there's a chance to show off their talents, skills and style in the contest to end all contests, the Dreamland Dog Show.
Can your pooch pip other pups to the post in these categories:
The Rex Factor - Has your dog got a shining skill or trick?
The Dogstacle Course - Can your dog take on our gruelling agility course?
The Gauntlet of Temptations - Has your dog got what it takes to sit next to toys, meaty chunks and delicious dripping bones without tucking in?
Strike a Pose - Dog that looks best in sunglasses
Most disobedient dog - nuff said
Best non dog - Why should the dogs have all the fun?
The schedule for the day
13:00 - Register to take part in the contests
14:00 - Dreamland Dog Show
15:30 - Prize Giving
16:00 - Parade of Pooches
Please come equipped with poop bags and poop a scoops. Dreamland is a family park and we consider dogs to be part of the family. We want to continue to invite our furry friends on park so we need everyone to leave the park as they find it. Bins provided!
We have moving rides and lots of guests including some who may not be dog lovers. So when your four legged friends aren’t taking part in an activity please make sure they are kept on their leads for their own safety.
We will have water around the park to refresh any thirsty pooches.
Just as well behaved humans are welcome on park, we also welcome well behaved dogs. We may refuse entry if your dog is not behaving well.
If you have any specific access needs, please contact us prior to the event on firstname.lastname@example.org.
