Dear Dreamers

Following the UK Government’s advice on public gatherings in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we regret to announce that Dreamland will not reopen for the Easter season.

The park is currently closed for winter and was due to reopen on 4th April. The amusement park, Roller Disco, and Octopus’ Garden will now be closed for the Easter season.

All events scheduled for the next six weeks will be postponed where possible. We are working closely with agents, artists, managers and promoters to confirm alternative dates and will update ticket holders by email as soon as possible. If you have purchased tickets to an event at Dreamland that takes place on a date from now until 20 April, the authorised ticket agents will be in touch with you very shortly to confirm next steps.

If you have already booked wristbands for the Easter period, please contact us to discuss further by e mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

At present, all of our summer events are going ahead as planned.

We are heartbroken to have to close our park just as we were about to begin our 100th anniversary celebrations, but the situation is beyond our control. We are incredibly grateful for the support the public has shown to us and to other local leisure and hospitality venues during this difficult time. We urge people to stay safe, follow Government advice and to support local businesses in Margate wherever possible.

We are following and monitoring UK Government advice daily, and we are hopeful that the situation will improve before the summer season. We will update you on our social media platforms on any changes and we advise people to follow Dreamland Margate for news from the park.

We know this is a difficult time for millions of people, so please keep smiling, keep dancing, and keep safe.

You can read our FAQs on COVID-19 below.
